Columbus Children's Theatre (CCT) recently received a grant in the amount $1,200 from the Puffin Foundation West Ltd (PFW). This grant will support the Sensory Friendly Performance of Hansel and Gretel.

Laurie Lathan, Executive Director of Columbus Children's Theatre states, "Columbus Children's Theatre is excited to be receiving its first grant from Puffin Foundation West. This funding will enable CCT to expand its reach to the autism community through Sensory Friendly Performances. Like the Puffin Foundation, Columbus Children's Theatre believes in providing exceptional artistic opportunities to those in our community who are often overlooked. We seek to remove barriers so that every young person and family gets a chance to participate in a live children's theatre experience."

PFW seeks to open the doors of artistic expression by providing grants to artists and art organizations that are often excluded from mainstream opportunities due to race, gender, or social philosophy.
