Celebrated Baroque music expert Monica Huggett performs double duty as conductor and violinist in this feast of 18th century favorites headlined by Vivaldi's enormously popular, ever-fresh concertos portraying the four seasons.The program includes Vivaldi compositions La primavera from The Four Seasons for Violin and Orchestra, String Sinfonia alla Rustica, String Sinfonia, L'estate from The Four Seasons for Violin and Orchestra, L'autunno from The Four Seasons for Violin and Orchestra, and L'inverno from The Four Seasons for Violin and Orchestra, as well as Locatelli's Lamento in F Minor and Locke's The Tempest from Suite of Instrumental Music from The Tempest.

The Columbus Symphony presents the Four Seasons at the Southern Theatre (21 E. Main St.) on Friday, January 11, at 8pm; Saturday, January 12, at 8pm; and Sunday, January 13, at 3pm. Tickets are $25-$65 and can be purchased at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St.), all Ticketmaster outlets, and www.ticketmaster.com.
