Shadowbox Live is thrilled to announce they will once again be performing their popular Beatles tribute show, Bigger Than Jesus, for free at the Columbus Commons on Sunday, May 29th!

Bigger Than Jesus chronicles the life and times of The Beatles - just 6 short years from 1964 to 1970 - through video, storytelling, dance and live music. The show received critical and audience acclaim during its 2014 run at Shadowbox Live and was performed as the Columbus Commons summer season opener last Memorial Day weekend, 2015 to an estimated audience of 8,000.

"With such an overwhelming response, how could we not reprise the show?" asks Shadowbox Live Executive Producer, Stev Guyer.

The Bigger Than Jesus Columbus Commons reprise marks the 5th year for Shadowbox Live to inaugurate the summer concert season at the Columbus Commons with one of its original productions.

Starting in 2011 with the troupe's popular Woodstock musical Back to the Garden, every year has seen crowds of literally thousands flocking to the picturesque green space with lawn chairs and blankets in hand to enjoy an absolutely free show from the Front Street performers.

In addition to the main event, Mansfield, Ohio acoustic rock duo Dr. Simple will perform as an opening act, getting everyone in the mood to enjoy some of he world's greatest music under the stars.

Shadowbox Live presents Bigger Than Jesus at the Columbus Commons, on Sunday, May 29th at 8:30 PM. Admission is free.
