Quartet Manolov - Colombia
Manolov Quartet is formed by Angélica Gámez and Miguel Ángel Guevara in the violins, Ricardo Hernández in the viola and Mintcho Badev on cello. It is one of the most important chamber music groups of Colombia and works in the dissemination of contemporary music. The Manolov performs music of all styles and historical periods and often combines the Repertoire of concert versions of rock or the Colombian folklore themes. In 2006 she participated in the International Festival of contemporary classical music of Lima and traveled to Berlin invited by the University of the arts. Their presentations at the 1st International Festival of music of Bogotá in 2013 led works by Beethoven to a very diverse audience that the hand of the Manolov enjoyed their first contact with classical music.
