Our fun, interactive and stress free four-week class will tackle The Business and making Lasting Impressions, ½ Hour Comedy, Hour Long Drama and The Self-Tape. You'll learn tips, tricks and techniques that will help you to dig deep and tap into a natural authenticity while refining your acting for the camera. Plus, you'll also get a copy of your work for you or your agent/manager to use in helping you to secure more appointments.

Week 1 - The Business and Lasting Impressions



In this class we will talk about bringing your best self to the audition room. How to make a strong impression without sacrificing that which is most honest and true of yourself. We'll also discuss the business where it is, where it's going and how you can stand out in the market place. We'll also dive in and get to work on Slates, Types, Styling for the Camera and more!



Week 2 - The Comedy



In this class students will work on/prepare Comedy sides that will have already been sent to them. We will also discuss the differences between Single Cam and Multi-Cam comedy and how to adjust accordingly, so that you give a stellar audition no matter what the style is.



Week 3 - The Drama



In this class students will work on two scenes from a TV Drama (One Co-Star and One Larger Guest Star/Series Regular). We'll talk about the differences between Co-Star, Guest Star and Series Regular.



Week 4 - The Self Tape



This class will focus on the art of Self - Taping. Students will be sent sides to self tape 48 hours before the class and send it in prior to the class. In class we will watch and critique all tapes and help students fix and improve their self tapes so that they go directly to producers, network, studio etc.
