Audition Boot Camp St. Louis, MO -

Are you looking to polish your 5 arias for your upcoming auditions this fall? Come to Winter Opera St. Louis in September and join one of our intensive five day audition boot camps where you will bring your arias to the next level. Each day you will have a mock audition for a panel of professionals, dramatic coaching with Dean Anthony, opera coaching and work with a conductor. We will also address the business of singing and tweak your resume, audition attire and headshots. Each session will only have 10 artists which will assure the personal attention you deserve in order to achieve your singing and professional goals.

You will be singing at least two hours a day and work on the important aspects of auditioning. Gain the confidence you need to succeed!

9 am - 10:30 - Mock Audition



10:30am - 12pm - Mock audition with other arias



1pm - 3:30 - Coach/Director/Conductor - spot checks with artists



Day 5



9-11am - Final Mock Audition - Director/conductor/Gina – Open to Public



11-1pm - One on one meeting with staff

Artist Qualifications



-You must have 5-6 arias in three different languages, learned and memorized. Our staff will not teach you your arias.



-You must come prepared with a resume/headshot and audition attire.



-You must be enrolled or have a degree from a University in Music or Vocal Performance.



Price per Artist - $500 per session



($250 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot and can be applied to the tuition.)





Housing



We are currently working on getting complimentary housing for out-of-town artists with some of our patrons. We will update this page as these arrangements are secure.



Red Roof Plus – 15 minute walk to the Winter Opera Studio



Double Occupancy – 6 Nights – Approximately - $250 (these arrangements will be made through Winter Opera)



We will arrange transportation to and from the airport for any artist.
