A PARENT'S GUIDE TO BROADWAY - Learn what it really takes to have a child on BROADWAY

LISTING INFORMATION

ON SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 17TH FROM 11:00a-1:00p at PEARL STUDIOS IN NEW YORK CITY, Broadway Child Guardians Lauren Hirsh (The King and I, Annie, Motown, Radio City., etc.) and Becky Baird (Fiddler on the Roof, Matilda National Tour, King and I etc.) are hosting a seminar for parents whose children are interested in show business and are currently or will be auditioning for Broadway shows and National tours. Our seminar will cover an array of topics including travel and relocation for families, coaches & classes, the daily expectations of being in a Broadway show, schooling, the ins and outs of the running of a Broadway show, how parent's choices affect their kids success and a lot more. As parents you often support your children's interest in the business, you want them to follow their dreams and star on Broadway, but do you really know what to expect once your child gets the job? We're hoping to help inform you as parents about the actual process and daily expectations of being a Broadway kid and parent. This is an opportunity for you to talk to the people who will care for your child if they are in a Broadway show. We can answer all of your questions from "What does a day look like when my child is in a show?" to "How does schooling work?" and so much more. To sign up for our seminar email us at PG2Broadway@gmail.com or visit our website aparentsguidetobroadway.com for more information. Cost: $175 (You would spend that on a voice lesson so why not to make yourself more informed?)
