Photo Flash: The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts Presents THE NIGHTS BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Filled with romance, heartbreak and mystery, The Nights Before Christmas reveals the dramatic life of Clement C. Moore and the writing of the poem he gave to the world, "A Visit from St. Nicholas". Could such a sour-faced scholar write a trifle about a jolly elf in a red suit? Did he really pen the poem on a Christmas Eve sleigh ride? Could the rumors that he is not the author be true? But what secret prevents him from claiming it for his own?

It's a love story, a literary mystery, an ode to Christmases gone by - wrapped up in beautiful songs like "Christmas Belongs to Her", "Summers at Chelsea", "Tonight, My Lullaby", "Santa Claus is a Friend of Mine" and an inspiring musical version of "T'was the Night Before Christmas".
