The show that revolutionized musical theatre is returning to the Aronoff Center for three performances only as a Fifth Third Bank Broadway Across America 09/10 Special Presentation. Tickets are still available and may be purchased from an authorized ticket agent in person at the Broadway Across America Box Office, downtown in the Mercantile Center, The Aronoff Center Ticket Office, online at BroadwayAcrossAmerica.com, or by phone at 1-800-982-2787.

Based on T.S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, and with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, CATS won seven 1983 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Lighting and Best Costumes.

Adoptable cats from the Ohio Alleycat Resource & Spay/Neuter Clinic will be in the lobby on opening night. Volunteers will be on hand to share information about their clinic, rescue and other services. This appearance is the start of several February events in recognition of Spay Day, a U.S. Humane Society campaign. Other OAR events include the OAR Feline Frenzy half-price spay and neuter surgeries February 5-8 and the My Furry Valentine party on Friday, February 19th. CATS will play the Aronoff Center, February 5-6, 2010: Friday at 8:00PM and Saturday at 2:00PM & 8:00PM.
