WGN-TV's Dina Bair to Serve as Celebrity Guest Judge for DANCING PROS: LIVE!

Broadway In Chicago has announced WGN-TV anchor, Dina Bair, as a celebrity guest judge for Dancing Pros: Live! which will have its tour launch at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph) on Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2, 2014. Hosted by Alan Thicke, star of the hit TV show "Growing Pains," and featuring Edyta Sliwinska and Chelsie Hightower from "Dancing with the Stars," and Ryan Di Lello, from "So You Think You Can Dance," the best dancers from around the world will thrill and dazzle audiences.

Dina Bair is an Emmy award-winning journalist who is currently the anchor for WGN Midday News. In addition, she is the medical reporter for the "Medical Watch" segments on WGN Midday News and WGN News at Nine. Dina joined WGN-TV as a full-time general assignment reporter in September 1994. Dina is the recipient of numerous awards including seven Emmy awards, a Peter Lisagor award from the Society of Professional Journalists, and multiple Associated Press awards for both anchoring and reporting. Dina was named a Fellow by the National Press Foundation for the "Cancer Issues" seminar in Washington D.C. She is a founding Board member of the breast cancer charity One in a Million: Dancing With Chicago Celebrities, which thanks to her extensive dance background, she won in 2008. And she leads a media running team devoted to raising funds for charity. Dina is also involved with The National Italian American Foundation, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, LUNGevity, Respiratory Health Association, American Cancer Society, and Imerman Angels.

The 2014-2015 Tour will star Alan Thicke, Edyta Sliwinksa and Chelsie Hightower. Joining them on stage will be actor and dancer, Oscar Orosco, and vocalists Joanna Pacitti, from "American Idol" Season 8, and Angel Taylor, from "The Voice" Season 2.

The remaining competitors on the tour are dance champions Artur Adamski, Paul Barris, Tess Buchatsky, Sasha Chernositov, Dmitry Demidov, Denys Drozdyuk, Arina Grishanina, Regina Maziarz, Antonina Skobina and Anastasia Trutneva.

For the first time together on stage, audiences across the country will see professional dancers from "Dancing with the Stars," "So You Think You Can Dance" and dance champions from around the world compete with one another for top prize! Watch in awe as they perform a variety of dance styles including Cha-Cha, Waltz, Tango, Swing, Freestyle Samba and the Jitterbug. Using electronic voting remotes, the audience becomes part of the show and votes for their favorite couple.
