Trap Door Theatre to Offer ASL Interpreted Performance of THE ARSONISTS, 11/10

Patrons who wish to be seated in the sign-interpreted section should call the Box Office Voicemail line at 773.384.0494 or e-mail to reserve tickets. Use the promotion code "access" to receive $10 off admission.,

The ASL interpretation of THE ARSONISTS is part of Trap Door Theatre's continuing commitment to making a top-flight theatre experience accessible to a wide range of audiences.

Parisian Clowning Master and Director and Founder of Cie Umbral Theatre in Paris, Victor Quezada-Perez uses stylistic clowning to re-envision Frisch’s parable about accommodating the very thing that will destroy you. In the play, mild-mannered Mr. Biedermann, emotionally castrated by his bourgeois guilt, allows two smooth-talking arsonists to burn his house to the ground.
This Project is Supported by the Cultural Services of the French Consulate in Chicago; The Swiss Benevolent Society of Chicago; The Saints, volunteers for the performing arts; and Cie Umbral.
