Three Cat Production's Visual Artist Series Features Amy Dellagiarino

In its final weekend of Tell Me When It Hurts, Three Cat Productions announces the Visual Artist Series designed to introduce not only performance art, but also visual artists in the Chicagoland community. Three Cat Productions' mission "to create connections between theater, music, audience and artists" speaks volumes through the Visual Artist series bringing the worlds of theater and art together on the same platform.

Each production in Three Cat Productions' 2013/14 season will highlight a different visual artist. The artist's work will appear in the lobby and will be available for sale throughout the run of the show.

The second featured artist of the season is Tell Me When It Hurts, Amy Dellagiarino.

Originally from Reston, Virginia, Amy Dellagiarino is an honor graduate from New York University. She has been painting and drawing ever since she was old enough to utilize her motor skills. She is the artist and creator of Captured by Della, a tip of the cap to her grandmother Mary who was also a painter. Her work is currently on view and being sold at Pattycake and Morning Glories in Troy, Ohio. Amy is also designing the posters for Stone Soup Shakespeare's 2014 theatre season. She lives and works in Chicago with her husband, actor Glenn Stanton. Her greatest artistic accomplishment to date remains drawing hundreds of cartoon versions of her dog for her best friend to color when they were both in the 4th grade. Tell Me When It Hurts was originally developed in a Chicago Dramatists workshop with Stage Left Theater. It was further revised this year in work with Jason Smith, Three Cat's Artistic Director. This is the second production partnership with the Chicago Park District's Berger Park Coach House Theater.

The production features Alex Fthenakis as Dr. Guy Better; Amy Dellagiarino as Kit Smart, Nurse Extraordinaire and Intrepid Scientist; Sheila Willis as Melissa Ver Batim; Don Baiocchi as Evan Olivier; Adithi Chandrashekar as Constable Marne Grimm; and Matt Lloyd as Admiral D.O.G.

This is the final weekend to see Tell Me When It Hurts. Showings on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Saturday matinees at 4:00pm at the Berger Park Coach House Theater at 6205 N. Sheridan in The Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain.
