Terry James, Executive Producer of the Marriott Theatre, has named Aaron Thielen and Andy Hite as Artistic Directors for the renowned regional musical theatre. Both men have served as Associate Artistic Directors since the summer of 2005.

Aaron Thielen served as Lead Associate Artistic Director for Marriott Theatre's productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie and State Fair.  Along with Director Marc Robin, Thielen is the creative force behind the highly anticipated finale to Marriott's 2006 season, a reimagining of All Night Strut. He has been associated with the Marriott Theatre since 1995 as a featured actor in more than 20 productions.

Andy Hite served as Lead Associate Artistic Director on Marriott's 2005 offerings of Footloose and Oliver, as well as this summer's premiere of Once Upon A Time In New Jersey.  Hite has been a part of the Marriott Theatre artistic team for the past four years.  Prior to joining Marriott, he enjoyed an award-winning acting career in Chicago.

The Marriott Theatre, founded in 1975, sells more than 400,000 tickets each year, and boasts the largest subscription base of any musical theatre in the area.  In addition to the presentation of classic American musical theatre, The Marriott Theatre is a prime venue for launching Broadway shows in the regional market. The season the Marriott will present the regional production of The Producers.
