"Variety-Ville," produced by comic hosting duo The Lounge Devils, will grace the Gorilla Tango Bucktown stage on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 7 pm. Lounge singers, dancers, comedians, magicians, and a strong man act are among their nostalgic, quirky selections for this two-night engagement. All performances take place at Gorilla Tango Bucktown, 1919 N Milwaukee, Chicago IL, 60647. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at gorillatango.com/bucktown or by calling773-598-4549.

Frank and Buddy Devil are the curators of the evening, and their selections are on trend and a hit with audiences from across the Midwest. "It's definitely something different, something unique you can't find anywhere else," says Adrien Brizzolara, Indiana resident and occasional singer with "Variety-Ville." "Frank and Buddy have a friendly, fun feel reminiscent of the Rat Pack or Abbott and Costello...they even have their own cigar girls!"

A regular cast of performers in on the bill for every "Variety-Ville performance, but each show always features new acts. These July shows will include Samantha Bryce singing songs from the Golden Era of jazz and lounge, the astounding strength of Thrym the Strongman and his handler Alastair, Ebonie Quint, the hula hoop queen, and Div Zealous, magician extraordinaire. Frank Devil sums it up with one of his quintessentially quirky opinions: "If you don't like our show, you're dead." While one can only hope he means you came in without a pulse prior to meeting him, who can tell for sure - these guys are jokesters with an edge!
