The Arc Theatre concludes its 2014-15 season with Caryl Churchill's popular drama TOP GIRLS, directed by Artistic Director Mark Boergers*, playing January 15 - February 8, 2015 at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. Tickets are available at www.arctheatrechicago.org. The press opening is Friday, January 16 at 7:30 pm.

TOP GIRLS will feature a scintillating ensemble cast of Arc Alumni and talented newcomers including Patricia Lavery as Marlene with Pamela Mae Davis, Meg Elliott, Aislinn Kerchaert, Tyler Meredith, Robyn Novak, Kelsey Phillips, Natalie Sallee*, Kate Marie Smith and Lana Smithner*.

TOP GIRLS follows the life and dreams of Marlene, a career-driven businesswoman who has risen to the top of her employment agency. Through interviews with prospective candidates, an absurdist dinner party with controversial women from history and conversations with her estranged family members and slick co-workers, Marlene explores the pain inherent in the inevitable choice between career success and strong family ties. In a world of the "Supermom" and a shattering glass ceiling, TOP GIRLS reveals the conflict that comes with the ultimately flawed desire to "have it all."

The production team for TOP GIRLS includes: Cailin Short* (scenic design), Catharine Young (costume design), Jason Hiett (lighting design), Matt Reich (sound design), Dustyn Martincich (movement direction), Katrina Dion (assistant director/dramaturg) and Belinda Bing* (stage manager).
