Second City Dysfunctional Holiday Revue to Play Copley Theatre, 12/5-21

Ahh the holidays. Searching for parking, standing in lines, cooking for 30, relatives that kiss you on the lips and then overstay their welcome.

You need an escape, and The Second City is here to take your mind off things with the return of The Second City Dysfunctional Holiday Revue, December 5-21 at the Copley Theatre, 8 E. Galena Blvd. in downtown Aurora.

Performances are Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at

The Second City Dysfunctional Holiday Revue is the live comedy revue that aims Chicago's most acclaimed comic improvisers' usual brand of brash and irreverent humor with laser beam focus at the foibles of the holiday season. Don't miss this hilarious evening of skits, songs and equal opportunity fun. Nothing is off limits - from your drunken Uncle Adolph and office parties, to how that first Christmas really went down. Be ready to laugh and be ready to buy tickets early. Most of these shows sell out in advance.
