Bruce Springsteen, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Grammy Award winner and Academy Award winner, will host a book signing in celebration of his autobiography, "Born To Run" on Monday, November 28 at 12 p.m. at Books-A-Million in Chicago, LaSalle, located at 114 S. Clark Street.

In "Born To Run," Springsteen describes being raised Catholic in Freehold, New Jersey and the moment he refers to as "The Big Bang": seeing Elvis Presley's debut on The Ed Sullivan Show. He details his persistent drive to become a musician, his early days as a bar band king in Asbury Park and the rise of the famous E Street Band. He also reveals for the first time the narrative of his personal struggles that inspired his best work, and tells us why the song "Born To Run" reveals more than we previously realized.

Wristbands are required to attend the author event and are available for purchase from the Chicago, LaSalle Books-A-Million store or online at brucespringsteenbam.eventbrite.com. Tickets include a pre-signed copy of "Born To Run" and allow one person per ticket to meet the author. Event check-in will begin at 9 a.m. Identification will be required at event check-in and the name on the ticket must match the ID. Tickets are non-transferable. No exceptions. Please note: personal items that cannot be pocketed will not be permitted; this includes backpacks, purses, shopping bags, etc.
