Get out of the cold and into Raue Center For The Arts! The theatre is proud to announce its holiday events, which feature a little something for everyone.

Join the theatre for annual holiday traditions like Plaid Tidings presented by Williams Street Repertory (November 28 - January 3), Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra (December 11) and Voices In Harmony's Sing-Along Messiah (December 13). Let Sugar Plum Fairies enchant you for a few hours during The Nutcracker Ballet (December 19 and 20) or laugh your way into 2015 with comedian Steve Cochran and guests at the New Year's Eve Comedy Show (December 31).

Plaid Tidings presented by Williams Street Repertory | November 28 Through January 3

Hear favorites from the 50s and 60s and traditional holiday songs delivered with a velvet touch! Stuff your stockings with 1950s tunes and holiday gems like "Let It Snow" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." It's musical fun with a big plaid Christmas bow on top! Tickets start at $32.50.

Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra: Holiday Pops Concert | December 11 at 8:00 pm

A Raue Center holiday tradition! Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra provides quality orchestral music through festive combinations of contemporary and classic holiday music! This show is a great event for the entire family. Tickets start at $52. Exclusively sponsored by Home State Bank.

Voices In Harmony: Sing-Along Messiah | December 13 at 4:00 pm

The community and the Voices In Harmony choir join their voices in harmony with Handel's great masterwork. It is presented with a 25-piece orchestra, excellent soloists and projections of beautiful calligraphy by Timothy Botts. The McHenry County College Chorus will supplement the on-stage choir. Truly a beautiful community performance, this is one of our area's most meaningful holiday traditions. Soloists for this year's concert will be: Kristen Leslie (soprano), Audrey Grieme (mezzo soprano), Peder Reiff (tenor) and William Powers (baritone). Tickets to this all-ages show start at $15.

The Nutcracker Ballet | December 19 at 3:00 pm & 7:00 pm, December 20 at 7:00 pm

Hear Tchaikovsky's unforgettable music, witness emotional dancing and see lavish costumes. Experience the magic of dancing sugarplums all weekend long! Join Clara on her daring adventure with the Nutcracker Prince through The Land of Snow and The Land of Sweets. March along with the toy soldiers, bravely battle the Mouse King and embrace the beauty of the dancing snowflakes. Raue Center is proud to partner with Berkshire Ballet Theatre once again. Steve Cochran's New Year's Eve Comedy Show | December 31 at 3:00 pm & 7:00 pm

Wouldn't it be great if there was a New Year's Eve show you could see and still make it home in time to fall asleep by 11... just like every year? Good news: there is! 720 WGN's Steve Cochran, and guests will be very funny (and done before your bedtime). The best in stand-up comedy on stage means you will have a great time saying goodbye to 2015 at Raue Center. Tickets are $52. Sponsored by RFP Photography and Northwest Herald.
