The only thing scarier than a giant bitchy city-destroying lizard twink is that lizard twink's bitchy daughter. GayCo Productions, Chicago's premier LGBTQ sketch comedy company, returns in June with its annual Pride Month series of improv and storytelling shows, this time entitled DAUGHTER OF PRIDEZILLA.

In honor of Pride (both Parade and Fest!), GayCo Productions (www.gayco.com) is rebooting its sell-out series of Pride Month comedy shows at The Playground Theatre (3209 N. Halsted St) and bringing the drunk denizens of Boystown four nights of H&M-tank-top-busting comedy.

DAUGHTER OF PRIDEZILLA, like her father, is an an outrageously gay improv bonanza based on the monologues of special Gay-lebrity guests, such as stand-up comedian and viral sensation Tamale Sepp. Guests in the past have included Christine Weismore, creator of the Back Lot Bash and Kirk Williamson, Nightspots editor and man-about-(Boys)town.

DAUGHTER PRIDEZILLA runs Fridays and Saturdays at 10pm, June 19-20 and 26-27 at The Playground Theater in the heart of Boystown. Tickets are $13 and can be bought in advance at gaycodaughterofpridezilla.eventbrite.com.

DAUGHTER OF PRIDEZILLA will feature GayCo ensemble members Kelly Beeman, Kathy Betts, Clay Goodpasture, Jamie Newland, John Loos, Alexandria Miller-Vanover, Judy Fabjance, Robin Trevino, and Christopher Thies Lotito, as well as secret special all-star improvisers from across the Chicago comedy community.

GayCo Productions was formed out of the famed Second City in 1996. For 19 years, it has produced thought-provoking and irreverent sketch comedy revues where gay is always the given and never the punchline.
