"The Nighttime and The Dawn" explores the cross-section of Americana, folk-rock, and anthemic, arena-filling rock and roll," said Presney. "It's the true expression of heartbreak, love, and the road."

"Presney's ability to distill these separate styles into a cohesive sound gives his music an originality and progressiveness worthy of listening and respecting," said The Illinois Times Music Critic Tom Irwin. "Bringing it all back home" in an inventive, provocative and listenable way."
