They say that timing is everything and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels has everything! Tom Hewitt as Lawrence Jameson is as suave as he is debonair and D.B. Bonds is wonderful as his youthful accomplice in training. When Laura Marie Duncan adds the beautiful nuances of her voice to her co-stars character voices, the moon truly comes out to take it all in.

Hollis Resnick, and Joe Cassidy beautifully blend together in their spotlight moments and share a fabulous comedic chemistry as Andre Thibault and Muriel Eubanks. Add to this, a spitfire performance by Jenifer Foote as she tries to lasso Jameson into her wedding party and you're set for a musical sit-com a la Carol Burnett.

The storyline for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is incredibly timeless. We've met these characters hundreds of times and they're still fresh and vibrant. As you're watching the performance, there are pink panthers in the house seats right next to you.  Jack Lemmon is there and Jerry Lewis and Michael Caine, just to name a few.

The set, which has been revised a bit during the tour is still incredibly effective and beautiful. The actors move effortlessly across whirling sets to transport themselves between interiors and exteriors without ever losing connection to their co-stars.

Surrounded by an immensely talented ensemble this cast delivers a knock-down, leave-'em-in-the-aisles-laughing production. This just might be the feel good performance of the 2007 theatre touring season.
