Café Cabaret invites guests to an electric evening filled with eclectic performers tonight, April 17 at 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at Café Ballou, 939 N Western Avenue, Chicago. Café Cabaret is led by Roberta Miles and features a rotating cast of uncommon characters guaranteed to make your jaw drop in shock and cheeks hurt from laughter. Donations are encouraged.

Miles is an award-winning monologist, published poet, Jazz singer, and staple figure in the Chicago art community. Miles's provocative autobiographical monologues chronicle her quest for mental and physical health with brutally hilarious candor. As the founding creator and producer for Cafe Cabaret and co-producer of Loose Chicks, Miles continues to push the envelope and provide a wide-range of memorable performances.

Master of ceremonies Richard Norby is a pithy performer possessing ineffable aplomb and personality.

April's show features music by Matt Griffo and Clara & the Great Goddamn, Russian dance by Viktoria Mitlyng, and comedy and stories by Don Hall, Holly Beaudry, Aasia LaShay Bullock and Daniel Shapiro.
