Raue Center For The Arts is excited to welcome BoDeans at 8 p.m. on November 4, 2016! Long considered one of the best live acts in the business, BoDeans have continued to tour year-round and deliver amazing, high-energy performances for nearly three decades.

The BoDeans' critically acclaimed debut record, "Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams," was released in 1986. Since then, the band has released 12 studio albums with ten records that hit the Billboard Top 200, numerous singles on the Mainstream Rock, Top 40 and Triple A radio charts and over 2 million in sales worldwide.

Best known for their catchy single "Closer to Free," the BoDeans' accessible adult alternative sound has led to many milestones, including winning the title of Best New American Band in a 1987 reader's poll by "Rolling Stone." The band's reputation for delivering a dynamic live show garnered support slots with U2, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Tom Petty, George Thorogood, David Bowie, The Pretenders and numerous others.

In the nearly 30 years that followed, BoDeans released several albums featuring hit songs that defined a generation, such as "Good Things," "Closer to Free," "Idaho," and "All The World." The band also earned a permanent installation in the Midwest Artists Exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

New and classic music by the BoDeans was recently featured throughout the Netflix original series "The Ranch" and the band will make a guest appearance in season two, which premieres later this month. The band shows no signs of slowing down and has a number of exciting things planned for 2017. BoDeans will release a new studio album on February 24, 2017 along with a PBS special as well as non-stop touring.

Tickets start at $55 and may be purchased online at rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at 815.356.9212 or 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake.
