The Scooty & JoJo Show and Metro present a special holiday performance of the comic rock spectacle, Alien Queen: The Concert, on Saturday, December 10, at Metro with returning crowd favorite, Battlestar Fantastica, and DJBoywonder. Alien Queen: The Concertcombines the legendary music of Queen with an outrageous parody of the "Alien" films to create a top-notch Queen tribute band made up of H.R. Giger-inspired aliens, cross-gendered humans, and some of Chicago's best singers and rock musicians. Jam-packed with classic Queen hits as well as deep cuts from the Queen catalog, Alien Queen: The Concert puts the epic music and absurd pageantry front and center.

Battlestar Fantastica is a sci-fi burlesque hour curated and co-hosted by Jyldo (Poonie's Cabaret, FLOF) with stand-up celebrity Cameron Esposito (Side Mullet Nation). The holiday show features intergalactic performances by Ammunition, Jeeze Loueez, Todd Hot Bod & friend, The Amazing Bendable Posable Dolls of Doom, Sherri Stein, Trandoid, Power of Cheer, DoubleDJ, and the Battlestar Fantastica Dancers. DJ Boywonder spins before and after the show to create a total evening of dancing and celebration.

History: The Scooty & JoJo Show premiered Alien Queen: A Sci-fi Rock ParOdyssey in December 2010 and January 2011 at Chicago's Circuit Nightclub, garnering incredible critical praise and packed houses. Created and staged by Scott Bradley, Alien Queen: The Concert transforms the original material into a fully-staged rock show, first appearing at Chicago's legendary Metro rock club in May 2011 and setting record numbers for The Scooty & JoJo Show ever since. Acclaimed performer Ryan Lanning returns as the Sigourney Weaver-inspired lead singer Ridley, while Scooty (aka creator Scott Bradley) continues his assault as the Alien Queen. Alien Queen: The Concert features new musical arrangements by bandleader Nicholas Davio as well as the ingenious aliens designed by Jabberwocky Marionettes, choreography of Jyl Fehrenkamp, and costuming by Anna Glowacki.
