About Face Theatre, a Chicago based theatre company that aims to advance the national dialogue on gender and sexual identity, in partnership with McDonalds Partners LLC, a full service brokerage firm, will host the cabaret show (Ho)Motown January 31 at Schubas in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood from 8PM-11PM. The variety program, presented by the About Face Theatre Associate Board, will raise funds for the organization's Youth Theatre, the award- winning Educational arm of About Face, a free year-round social activism and theatre arts-based program for LGBTQA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Ally) youth and their allies.

The evening will feature performances by some of Chicago's most talented and decorated theater professionals, including: Paul Oakley Stovall (The Invisible Man –Court Theatre), multiple Jeff Award winners E. Faye Butler (Black Pearl Sings – Northlight Theatre) & Hollis Resnik (Follies – Chicago Shakespeare Theatre), Rob Lindley (Angels in America - Court Theatre) and ten-time Grammy winner Steve Rodby (Pat Matheny Group). The evening will conclude with a dance party featuring DJ Erik Roldan of the popular LGBTQA dance party Chances Dances.

"We're excited to kick off our new Associate Board with an event featuring such incredible Chicago powerhouses," said Mark Roberts, About Face Theatre Associate Board President. "Our goal is to inspire youth and young professionals of Chicago to get involved with local theater and to raise the public's awareness of all the hard work the About Face Artists are doing to lift up and celebrate the LGBTQA community."

The evening will also feature a raffle with exciting prizes including: Tickets to the touring Broadway Production FELA!, The Rosie Show, & RENT, a round trip ticket courtesy of Orbitz, and more. Tickets to (Ho)Motown are $25 and available at www.aboutfacetheatre.com . The show is ages 18 and over. Schubas is located at 3159 N. Southport Avenue.
