Flat "God bless us, everyone!" This holiday season, Flat Rock Playhouse will present the classic A Christmas Carol from November 17 through December 17 on the Clyde and Nina Allen Mainstage in the Village of Flat Rock. Adapted from the Charles Dickens novel for the stage by Richard Helleson, A Christmas Carol features original music and lyrics adapted from traditional sources by David De Berry. Returning to Flat Rock Playhouse by popular demand since its record-breaking 2014 run, A Christmas Carol is sure to delight, entertain, inspire and enchant. Returning to play Ebenezer Scrooge for this production will be Peter Thomasson, recently seen on the Flat Rock Playhouse stage in Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play, The Diary of Anne Frank and The Importance of Being Earnest. Also featured in the cast of A Christmas Carol are Flat Rock Playhouse regulars Scott Treadway, Preston Dyar, Steve Carlisle, Linda Edwards, Janie Bushway, Stephanie Wahl, Grayson Powell, Willie Repoley, Maria Buchanan, Lizzie O'Hara, Josh Marx and Madison Johnson.
The youth ensemble of A Christmas Carol includes Kyra Hewitt, Sophia Mercado, Bailey Greemon, Lilly Mercado, Claudia Sturgell, Kaia Pelz, James Dillon, Liam Teague, Andrew Starr, Harper Callahan, Riley Hewitt and Ezekiel Mercado.
A Christmas Carol is directed and choreographed by Amy Jones, who helmed the 2014 production as well. Alex Shields serves as Musical Director with Bill Munoz as Stage Manager with Lindsey A. Moss as Assistant Stage Manager. Production Manager is Adam Goodrum. Resident Scenic Designer Dennis C. Maulden designs the set with Lighting, Sound, and Costumes by CJ Barnwell, Kurt Conway, and Ashli Arnold respectively. Paul Feraldi designs the properties.
A Christmas Carol performs November 17 through December 17 on the Mainstage. Matinee and evening performances Wednesday through Sunday.
