In what was described as an opportunity "too big to miss," Matthew Morrison announced today that he will join the summer's hottest tour as a special guest. Morrison joins the tour in Anaheim, and tour dates/ticketing info can be found at www.matthewmorrison.com and www.nkotbsb.com
"This was an opportunity I couldn't pass up," said Morrison. "I am so appreciative of my fans and I'm planning to give them a great show."

Matthew Morrison's self-titled debut album is available now. The album contains lead single, "Summer Rain," next single "Still Got Tonight" (co-written by American Idol winner Kris Allen) as well as incredible duets with Sting ("Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot"); Sir Elton John ("Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters/Rocket Man") and Gwyneth Paltrow ("Somehere Over the Rainbow").

Matthew Morrison is best known to millions as the eternally optimistic high school teacher - and de facto glee club director - Will Schuester, on the FOX television network's runaway hit comedy series "Glee." The show ranks as the #1 entertainment program on broadcast television among Adults 18-34, Teens and Female Teens.

Morrison has been nominated for Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe awards, and shared the 2009 SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Award for Best Performance by an Ensemble in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical, for "Glee."
Morrison is no stranger to musical theatre, vocal performance and dance, which he studied at New York University's renowned Tisch School of the Arts. His first big Broadway break came as heartthrob Link Larkin in the hit Hairspray. Morrison was later nominated for a Tony Award for his role in The Light in the Piazza. He received a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Musical for 10 Million Miles. Morrison also starred in the Tony Award-winning revival of South Pacific at New York's Lincoln Center Theater.

About NKOTBSB Tour:

New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys banded together to give their fans a must-see concert experience this summer with their first-ever combined North American Tour with concert dates including the upcoming one-night-only once-in-a-lifetime Fenway Park show on June 11.

NKOTBSB first surprised and delighted fans when they took the stage together for a medley at the sold out New Kids On The Block Radio City Music Hall show in June 2010. The two groups wowed audiences again in their first joint televised performance at the American Music Awards this past November. The performers had the audience on their feet when they unleashed hit after hit including Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way" and the New Kids On The Block's "Hangin' Tough," sending the crowd into rip-roaring applause.

With over 200 million albums sold between both bands, and smash hit after smash hit, these two pop sensations have dominated the music scene for over three decades. Aiming to please, these guys are giving concert goers and diehard fans everywhere the ultimate "night out" experience.
