Flat Rock Playhouse to Continue Concert Series with THE MUSIC OF THE BEACH BOYS

Flat Rock Playhouse will resume its 2016 Music on the Rock concert series with "The Music of The Beach Boys" on April 21st at the Playhouse Downtown. This highly requested tribute will feature such hits as God Only Knows, Good Vibrations, Kokomo, California Girls, Surfin' Safari, Fun Fun Fun and many others.

Members of The Garden State Guys, the band that rocked the 2015 Music of the Rock concert featuring the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will return to star in this musical celebration of the band that pioneered the "California Sound" with songs of love, cars, girls and, of course, surfing.

The Garden State Guys consist of New York based singers David R. Gordon, Brandon Lambert, Kasey Marino and Allan Snyder.

DAVID R. GORDON is a NYC based actor originally from Los Angeles. Favorite credits include the first national tour of Flashdance: the musical and the international tours of Grease and Altar Boyz.

BRANDON LAMBERT is an NYC-based actor and composer. He has starred in the national tour of Murder for Two and has been seen in regional productions of Forever Plaid, The Hound of the Baskervilles and Born Yesterday.

KASEY MARINO appeared in the Flat Rock Playhouse productions of Hairspray and The Mousetrap. Selected regional credits include performances at Theatre Under the Stars, Sacramento Music Circus, North Shore Musical Theatre, Kansas City Starlight, ?Paper Mill Playhouse, St. Louis MUNY, and as a soloist with the Boston POPS. He was seen on Broadway in the closing company of Hairspray with Harvey Fierstein.

ALLAN SNYDER recently concluded a successful run with the national tour of The Phantom of the Opera, on many occasions playing the title role. In New York, Allan appeared on Broadway in the final cast of Les Miserables and off-Broadway in the long-running classic The Fantasticks.

Alex Shields is the Music Director for The Music of The Beach Boys and will also play the keyboard with Jim Black on drums, Daniel Iannucci on bass and Bill Altman on guitar.

Music on the Rock: The Music of The Beach Boys will run from February April 21st through May 1st at the Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown. Evening performances Thursday at 7:30 PM, and Friday and Saturday at 8 PM. Matinee perfomances Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM.
