CAST's Mission Statement is to "think outside the black-box" and produce culturally diverse EXPERIENTIAL theatre incorporating multi-media and other performing art forms, which involves and ultimately moves the audience to make a difference in their family, community, and in the world at large.

Vision Statement is to create an environment where writers, actors, directors, designers, and other performance artisans of all mediums can produce independent theatre that allows for free flowing expression and serves the greater good.

been produced in our region. A Victorian surgeon rescues a heavily disfigured man
scraping a living as a side-show freak. Behind his monstrous facade, there is revealed
a person of intelligence and sensitivity.

THE DAY THEY SHOT John Lennon

Where were you on that fateful day how did it change your life? This play builds the interwoven stories of New Yorkers who gather to pay tribute outside
the apartment building where John Lennon was shot to death.

WHEN YOU COMIN' BACK RED RYDER?

An unbalanced Vietnam War vet's car breaks down outside a rest stop in a small town in New Mexico; and the denizens and visitors of Foster's Diner are about to go through the most powerful experience of their lives. Imagine Pulp Fiction's Ringo and Honey Bunny meeting up with Leslie Howard and Bette Davis in The Petrified Forest.

March 3 - April 2
POPCORN

When somebody gets shot in a movie directed by Bruce Delamitri, it will be witty, stylish and backed by a great soundtrack. Among Bruce's enthusiastic fans are serial killers Wayne and Scout. They ultimately confront Bruce and his entourage to resolve the intertwined natures of art and violence and personal responsibility in this very black comedy.

AGNES OF GOD

A dead newborn is found at a convent and the mother - a naive, unworldly novitiate - insists the infant was a virgin birth. Dr. Martha Livingstone is assigned to the case and clashes with the Mother Superior who, expounding on the possibilities of miracles, adamantly wants the investigation dropped. Martha covers the full gamut of emotion
during the investigation - from nurturer to antagonist, from hard-nosed
court psychiatrist to faith searching healer.

June 16 - July 16
NEON PSALMS

It's a sorry situation in an isolated trailer home in the desert of Boron, California.
Luton Mears is obsessed with his turtles and Bonanza TV re-runs; his wife Patina is submerged in religion; and their grown daughter has moved back home and is
on her way to establishing a bad reputation. This black comedy asks: Is there a
substitute for the love of another human being and if so, what is the price exacted?
