The Panel Discussion to be held as part of Touchstone Theatre's Journey from the East community-based project has moved to Saturday, April 25, 2015. The Panel Discussion will still be held in Touchstone Theatre (321 East Fourth Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015) at 6pm, directly following the Journey from the East performance on the 200 Block of the South Bethlehem Greenway.

The panelists are Bob Kilker, a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Kutztown University, and Christopher Shorr, Touchstone Associate/Moravian College Director of Theatre, discussing the American Western as our cultural mythology, moderated by Bill Bly, dramaturg for the Journey from the East project. The event is free with donations welcomed.

In addition, there will be a new exhibit on display in the Touchstone Gallery by Deng Dafei and He Hai of the Utopia Group of China. The artwork displayed includes paintings created as promotional pieces for the show, such as the full size poster and postcard image, and "mash up" imagery of Journey to the West's Monkey King as an American Cowboy. It will also include works of art created by Utopia Group with community members during workshops held throughout the Lehigh Valley. The gallery exhibit is free. Doors are open during the performance weekends (April 18, 19, 25, and 26, 2015) and Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm; call ahead for an appointment.
