Get ready for a joyful, mischievous, comedy thriller that is sure to keep you on The Edge of your seat when Millbrook Playhouse presets Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: the Sherlock Holmes Mystery in the Poorman Cabaret.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's timeless classic comes to life like you have never seen before. With equal parts comedy and adventure, Baskerville's fast-moving, pulse-pounding and murderously funny ride proves just how far from elementary the truth can be.

The world's favorite detective returns in the most famous case of his career. This time it's the gloomy and foreboding world of fog, moors, and monsters that combine to create a dizzying web of clues. Sherlock Holmes and his faithful companion Dr. Watson must unravel them quickly if they hope to save the latest heir to the Baskerville fortune from a centuries-old curse. This thrilling adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles preserves the enticing elements of the mystery while teeming with lightening quick character and costume changes that add to the excitement and fun.

Baskerville: the Sherlock Holmes Mystery is written by Ken Ludwig best known for the hit comedies, including a few Millbrook favorites, Leading Ladies, Lend Me A Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo. It is Directed by Millbrook newcomer Andrew Garrett Karl and featuring a cast of five actors who take on more than 30 roles, they include Dave Polgar as Sherlock Holmes, Frank Franconeri as Dr. Watson, and Alex Frost, Matt Harris, and Jeff Ronan playing more than 28 roles. Set Design by Joshua E. Gallagher, Costume Design by Sydney Moore, Lighting Design by Ethan Vail, Props Design by Stephen M. Cyr, and Sound Design by Alex Wolf.

Running in the Poorman Cabaret from Friday, July 22, 2016 through Sunday, July 31, 2016. Evening performances are at 7:30pm, matinee on Wednesday, July 27 at 2:00pm. Advisory: Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery is appropriate for adults and young people ages 13 and up. It's a thrilling whodunit, so there's talk of murder and mayhem, but no graphic violence and just mild adult language.
