Rounding out its 2015 season and as one of the first theatres in the area to secure the just-released license for the show, Hershey Area Playhouse is proud to present A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS, a story about a boy searching for the real meaning of Christmas. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast onstage below!

The stage adaptation of A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS is based on the original television production that debuted in 1965, which has become a Christmas staple in homes across the country. When Charlie Brown complains about the materialism he sees at Christmas, Lucy suggests that he direct the school's Christmas pageant. He accepts, but it proves to be a frustrating effort. When an attempt to restore the proper holiday spirit with a neglected little Christmas tree fails, he needs Linus' help to discover the real meaning of Christmas.

Bringing this holiday treasure to life, the kids-only cast members of A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS, ranging in age from 8 to 12, include: Seth Winnick as Charlie Brown; Morgan King as Snoopy; Samantha Koegler as Lucy; Matthew Milunic as Linus; Katie Copeland as Sally; Fletcher Smith as Schroeder; Ada Howard as Violet; Abigail Bridgeman as Patty; Hattie Gavazzi as Frieda; Carson Smith as Pig Pen; and Levi Snyder as Shermy. Ensemble cast members include: Kara Donaghue, Nicholas Horney, Juliana Silber, Morgan Silber, Jude Petersen, Mia Caldonetti, Lillian Bridgeman, and PJ Paterno.

In addition to Paynard, production staff members for A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS include: Michele Robertson, producer; Josiah Graybill stage manager; Jeff Miller and Carlton Hoke, set designers; Gwen Vares costume designer; Tim Banis and Ezra Smith, sound designers; and Brydon Lidle, lighting designer.

Experience the timeless classic of A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS, running Dec. 17-20 2015.
