Oyster Mill Playhouse will present the comedy, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged. It is produced with special arrangement by Samuel French, Inc. and written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield.

This outrageous comedy parodies the plays of William Shakespeare, with all of them being performed (in comically shortened or amalgamated form) by only three actors and sets The Bard on his ear. The fourth wall is nonexistent in the performance with the actors speaking directly to the audience during much of the play, and some scenes involve audience participation. As a result, each performance can be vastly different from another, even with the same cast. In other words, never the same show twice.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged runs three weekends starting Friday, April 10 and closing on Sunday, April 26. Curtain is 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays; 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $16.00 and they are on sale now. They can be purchased by calling the box office at (717)-737-6768 or through the website, www.oystermill.com.
