Ring in the New Year with gut wrenching laughter at the Belmont Theatre's production of "Girls' Weekend" playing in the theatre's Bon-Ton Studio January 13-15 & 19-22.

"Girls' Weekend" is a lightning-quick, contemporary farce written by Karen Schaeffer. Schaeffer will attend the opening night of the comedy. Join the men as they crash what was meant

to be just a...girls' weekend! The women tell everyone they're going to Dot's weekend cabin for book club. However, after the third case of wine comes through the door, it becomes clear

there will be more stewing than reviewing. As bottles tip up, secrets spill out and men sneak in. Get ready for some surprises, because the snowed in cabin has five doors and a big window, which creates a lot of frantic ins and outs- making this play a must-see comedy of errors and mistaken identity!

The comedy is directed by Andrea Stephenson. The cast includes Christine Koslosky as Dot, Stephanie Trdenic as Meg, Heather Still as Carol, Greg Koslosky as Rick, Rebecca Schrom as Ellie,

Phil Reach as Bubba, Brian Gilbert as Stephen, and Rick Osborn as Sheriff Tom Lane.

Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays and 3:00 p.m. on Sundays. Group sale are available. Go to www.thebelmont.org or call 854-5715 for advance tickets and more information. Tickets will be available at the door one hour before the performance, if available. The theatre is conveniently located right off of 83 with free parking.
