Local Teen Peformers Set for #TAKEBACKYOURVOICE at State Theatre, 10/17

The producers of #TAKEBACKYOURVOICE October 17th at the State Theatre in Easton announce the teen performers who have been chosen to open the show (and sing with) national recording artist FLINTACE on October 17th , State Theatre in Easton. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the non-profit FREDDY© Awards.

Band members of Flintface, State Theatre staff members and MC for the concert Riley Reed from SPIN 107.1 held auditions for local performers on September 24. High school students between the ages of 14-19 submitted audition tapes to showcase their wide array of talents including music, dance, spoken word and comedy. The following performers/bands were awarded the opportunity to perform on the main stage of the State Theatre:

Beautiful Oblivion - Victoria Rose (Northern Lehigh HS), Britney Gelb (Parkland HS) and Maddy McClary (Nazareth HS)

Blind Choice - Dylan Pysher, Matt Habrial and Even Pysher (Pen Argyl HS)

Counting Clockwise - Rae Oanesa, Hannah Newman, Tim Walters, Robbie Papera (Liberty HS)

Alyssa Garcia (Pope John Paul II HS)

Julia Gross (Belvidere HS)

Abby Illingworth (Saucon Valley HS)

Jameek Jones (William Allen HS)

Rhys Williams (American Boychoir School)

Phillipsburg High School Chorus

Easton School of Rock Band - playing Pre-Show in the Easton Hospital Gallery, 5:30 PM

The #TakeBackYourVoice Concert starts at 7:00 PM on the main stage; Pre-show 5:30 PM in Easton Hospital Gallery.
