Come to witness the divine in Mill Hall, PA (July 2018). The Board of Directors and Artistic Director, David Leidholdt, are proud to present their second main stage production of the 55th anniversary season, *SISTER ACT: THE MUSICAL, music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and book by Cheri Steinkellner and Bill Steinkellner, additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane, based on the Touchstone Pictures Motion Picture "Sister Act" written by Joseph Howard. *please note correction from the previously submitted press release.

Sister Act is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film, featuring original music by Tony and eight-time Oscar winner, Alan Menken. This uplifting story follows disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won't be a found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and the uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. Soon, the gang is giving chase, only to find them up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood.

Filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing, and a truly moving story, Sister Act is Directed and Choreographed by Trey Compton, Musical Direction by Mo Orbal, and Associate Choreographer Dara Orland. It features Tayler Harris as Deloris Van Cartier, Dana Orange as Eddie, Corey Barrow as Curtis Jackson, Carly Grayson as Sister Mary Robert, Audrey Rose Young as Mother Superior, Paige Waldron as Sister Mary Patrick, Dalon Bradley as TJ, Felipe Joglar as Pablo, Thomas-Robert Irvin as Monsignor O'Hara, Sam Snyder as Joey, Kathleen Cameron as Sister Mary Martin-of-Tours, Nikki Yarnell as Mary Lazarus, also featuring Katelyn Boyd as Sister Mary Katie, Alexis Yard as Michelle, Dara Orland as Tina, Jake Friedman as Cop/Ensemble, and Danny Martin as Ernie/Ensemble.
