Anne of Green Gables, the timeless tale of the orphan Anne Shirley, will come to life on the Central Mountain Stage.

Adapted by Peter DeLaurier, from the novel by L.M. Montgomery, we join Anne Shirley, a romantic hot-headed and energetic girl as she wins the heart of aging brother and sister, Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert and turns a rural town into a world of "kindred spirits."

Featuring a talented cast of students from Central Mountain High School, they are led by Katie Owens as Anne Shirley, with Lydia Parker as Marilla, Izyah Gerlach as Matthew, Aimee Hunsinger as Diana Barry, Abrielle Geise as Mrs. Lynde, Jeff Alverez, Gilbert Blythe, Hayden White as Moody McPhearson Gillian Lingle as Mrs. Barry, Adrian Fortescue as Mrs. Spencer/ Miss Stacey Colby Stoner as Charlie Sloan, Hannah Cole as Jane Andrews, Olivia Hanna as Josie Pye and Briana Bottorf as Ruby Gillis.

Matt Spencer, returns to direct and choreograph, with Ashley Hepler as Associate Choreographer. Scenic paintings designed Jeff Alverez.

This March, don't miss GREASE, as Central Mountain brings the musical favorite to the stage.

Anne of Green Gables plays November 4 and 5 at 7pm and November 6 at 2pm in the Central Mountain High School Auditorium. Tickets arer $12 for adults and $10 for Students. Tickets will go on sale 45 minutes before the show. For more information, call (570) 893-4646.
