Opening the Summer Mainstage season is I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti playing June 16 - 25. This hilarious play based on the best-selling memoir of the same name will star Larisa Oleynik. Larisa is a veteran of TV and film, starring in Nickelodeon's The Secret Life of Alex Mack, as well as playing Cynthia Cosgrove in Mad Men, Maggie Cutler on ABC'sPretty Little Liars, and Alissa Studwick on Third Rock from the Sun. Larisa's movie credits include Bianca in 10 Things I Hate About You where she played Bianca, opposite Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.Hangar's Interim Artistic Director Michael Barakiva, and director of this production, comments, "We are delighted that an actress with Larisa's incredible credits and experience will be joining us for I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti. This one-woman show is a true tour de force, and as a fellow Italophile, I eagerly anticipate seeing all the warmth, comedy and joy she brings to this role". As part of the show, Larisa will be cooking a three-course Italian meal that will be served to select audience members. Ask the box office to upgrade your seat to enjoy the meal made during the show.

The Tony Award-winning musical, In the Heights, runs from June 30 - July 16, directed by Suzanne Agins. Set in the wonderfully diverse neighborhood of Washington Heights of New York City, the musical features the stories of three generations who live, love, work, and help each other fulfill their ambitions and dreams. This inspirational story features a Grammy Award-winning score that blends popular musical styles with traditional Broadway, written by Lin Manuel-Miranda (of the Broadway sensation, Hamilton). The leading role of Usnavi, originated by Lin Manuel-Miranda on Broadway, will be played by Perry Young, who also played the role in the National Tour of In the Heights.

Third by Wendy Wasserstein will follow the musical playing July 21 - 30. Set in a small, prestigious college town (not unlike Ithaca), the play tells the story of a professor whose seemingly well-ordered life is thrown into dizzying disarray after she accuses a student athlete of plagiarism. Taking the stage as Professor Jameson is Dee Pelletier (Broadway'sAugust: Osage County), making her Hangar Theatre debut. Also making his debut on the Hangar stage is Malcom Ingram as Jack, joined by Catherine Weidner, who was last seen at the Hangar in Other Desert Cities. Third will be directed by Interim Artistic Director, Michael Barakiva, who developed the play with Wendy Wasserstein and directed the premier production.

Closing the Hangar's 42nd season is Constellations by Nick Payne, directed by Linsay Firman. This spellbinding romance will be performed by Makela Spielman and Robert Ross Parker, both taking the Hangar stage for the first time.
