Adirondack Theatre Festival (ATF) presents an entertainment event for children entitled THE PB&J CAFÉ: A DINNER THEATRE FOR KIDS. One of the first of its kind in the world, THE PB&J CAFÉ offers children, ages 12 and under, an opportunity to enjoy dinner theatre like an adult.

Performances will be held at the Charles R. Wood Theater (207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls) July 5th - July 21st at 12pm. Tickets are $15 (lunch included) and are available at the Wood Theater Box Office, online at ATFestival.org, or by calling (518) 480-4878.

A revolutionary idea, the PB&J Café will give young theatre-goers the opportunity to order a meal from the cast of characters, participate in an art activity, dine during the live performance, and come home with autographs from their favorite actors. In its debut last season, the PB&J Cafe? sold-out its entire run. More performances have been added for 2016 along with a new meal and a new show.

The event will take place in the storefront space adjacent to the Wood Theater. Kid-sized tables and chairs will surround the performance space. Meals catered by 190 Grille will be served to each small patron by the characters in the show. While they wait, there will be a craft activity associated with the production for kids to participate in. Our pint-sized patrons will then enjoy their meal while watching the performance happening just a few feet away. Afterwards, the cast of characters will be available to sign autographs. Parents will receive a light snack and will sit in a seating area that surrounds the room of kid-sized tables. Children will be able to sit with their parents if preferred.

The performance will be the children's classic, STUART LITTLE. As a most unusual mouse born into an ordinary New York family, Stuart struggles to survive in his super-sized world of humans. His greatest adventure comes when his best friend, a beautiful bird named Margalo, disappears from her nest. In no time at all, Stuart's life becomes a series of adventures and misadventures that are anything but little.
