Over Labor Day Weekend, the Franklin Stage Company is delighted to welcome back writer-actress Patricia Buckley with her solo play "Evolution." With a story that blends the lives of two sisters, their mother, and the unique evolution of whales, "Evolution" is a deeply moving, often wildly funny tale of how human beings endure, evolve and move on. Buckley performed an earlier version of "Evolution" to sold-out houses at FSC at the start of the 2015 season, and patrons have clamored ever since for its return.

Performances are Friday September 2nd and Saturday September 3rd at 8pm and Sunday September 4th at 5pm. Earlier this season at FSC, Buckley wowed audiences when she played multiple roles in "We 3," FSC Artistic Director Carmela Marner's adaptation of Anton Chekhov's "The Three Sisters." Amongst other FSC appearances over the years, Buckley regularly left audiences gasping with laughter in FSC's "Tartuffe" in 2014.

As always at FSC, admission is free (donations gratefully accepted) and reservations are recommended. Call 607-829-3700. FSC is located in Chapel Hall at 25 Institute Street in Franklin. Programming is made possible, in part, by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
