Hit the Pool This Summer Courtesy of the City of Casper Recreation Division

The City of Casper Recreation Division is offering great ways to beat the heat and have fun this summer.

The new Mike Sedar pool includes: a lazy river, 34ft tall super slide, spray features, climbing wall, lily pad walk and splash pad creating a fun environment for all. The Recreation Division has three additional outdoor pools and the indoor aquatic center. With purchase of an aquatic pass participants have unlimited access to the pools!

Every week Monday through Thursday various games and activities for swimmers will be offered at the outdoor pools. "Melon Monday" 3:15 PM at Paradise Valley Pool; participants will have the opportunity to compete in a watermelon relay race followed by free watermelon slices. Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 5:00 PM Washington Park Pool has inner tube water polo for ages 8 to 18. Have your squirt gun ready for "Water Wars" every Wednesday at Marion Kreiner Pool and slide races at Paradise Valley Pool every Thursday starting at 3:15 PM.

July 2 11:15-1:00 PM "Half Price Family Swim" at the indoor Casper Family Aquatic Center

July 22 5:00-7:00 PM "Double Dipper & Dive" at Washington Park Pool.

July 25 5:00-7:00 PM for "Christmas in July" at Paradise Valley Pool.

August 3 5:00-7:00 PM for "Float Night" at Paradise Valley Pool.

August 6 11:15-1:00 PM "Half Price Family Swim" at the indoor Casper Family Aquatic Center

August 19 5:30-7:30 PM Mike Sedar will host "Family Pool Party" night.
