Bundle up for Casper's most beloved holiday tradition: "Candlelight Christmas at the Fort" on Saturday, December 3rd, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Fort Caspar Museum and its support group, the Fort Caspar Museum Association, again present this FREE, family-friendly event that will inspire warm memories that will last a lifetime.

Visitors will experience a 19th-century Christmas on the frontier. Dress warmly to enjoy the Fort by candlelight, and meet army, pioneer, and mountain men re-enactors. Talk to soldiers stationed at the fort, play a game of chance with the gambler, shop in the Sutler's Store, and get a feeling for what life was like 150 years ago.

Warm up inside the Museum where we will have free hot chocolate, cider, and cookies. There will be craft-making activities for the kids, and the exhibit galleries and gift shop will be open for you to explore. Bring a camera to take your own snapshots in front of our Old West backdrop.

For more information, call the Museum at (307) 235-8462, or visit our website at www.fortcasparwyoming.com. Fort Caspar Museum is located at 4001 Fort Caspar Road.
