The Ziegfeld Society of New York City will present LEGACY ON THE LINE: The Road to Becoming a Rockette, the final production of their 2015-2016 season, on Saturday June 25th, 2016. Presented in association with Legacy 36, LCC, the multi-autobiographical musical revue starring The Legacy Dancers, directed and choreographed by Mary Six Rupert, will take place at Lang Recital Hall, Hunter College (68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenue), and tickets for the 3:30pm and 6:30pm performances are now on sale.

LEGACY ON THE LINE: The Road to Becoming a Rockette explores the stories of six women of various ages, from different social backgrounds, and their individual journeys to becoming a member of the legendary dance troupe, performing on the great stage at New York's Radio City Music Hall, and all that followed after. Starring are former Rockettes Tomilee L. Abraham, Katherine Corp and Kimberly Corp (creators of Pilates on Fifth and stars of The Ziegfeld Society's THE DOLLY SISTERS), Brittany Catttaruzza, Tommy Joscelyn and director/choreographer Mary Six Rupert. Guest starring are Dottie Belle, a career Rockette for twenty-five years, current Rockette Alina Silver, and Bruce Michael, the former Vice-President and Creative Producer of the Rockettes, currently the Executive Director of The Space at Westbury. Other members of The Legacy Dancers, a line of former Rockettes, include Linda Bloom, Brittany Cattaruzza, Ann Cooley, Nicole Davey, Ashlee Fife, Madeline Jaye, Cassandra Palacio and Adrienne Weidert, with Mary Kane, Penny Laitin, Hannah Leider, Margie Rosen, Eric Rundbaken, and Lauren Taylor.

The Ziegfeld Society of New York City is a not-for-profit organization that aspires to enlighten, entertain and educate current and future generations of theatergoers and young artists about the legendary performers, songwriters and creators of our vast musical theater heritage. Executive Producer and Musical Director Mark York (JUST JIM DALE) hosts monthly performances featuring Broadway stalwarts performing alongside young up-and-coming artists, as well as presentations by authors and screenings of lost film and television musicals.
