Whitney Bashor Coming to 54 Below, 6/26
54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Whitney Bashor Live at 54 Below on Thursday, June 26, 2014. Bashor starred on Broadway this season as Marian/Chiara in The Bridges of Madison County, singing Jason Robert Brown's folk-inspired "Another Life". With an ethereal presence, Bashor's unplugged performance will feature selections ranging from musical theatre to acoustic pop covers. Audiences can expect fresh takes on songs by Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton and material from her growing catalogue of Broadway and regional show credits, such as Pasek & Paul's Edges, in which Bashor originated one of the lead roles. Musical direction and piano by Jodie Moore (If/Then, Alladin, Spring Awakening), with Matt Hinkley (Violet) on guitar. Bashor will be joined by special guest, Katie Klaus (The Bridges of Madison County, Bonnie and Clyde, A Catered Affair).
