A 2012 United States Artists Friends Fellow, Tony is one of the most influential banjo players in the roots music world with 40 plus years as a consummate Banjo Artist and the many voices he has brought to the instrument. With his band of extraordinary musicians, more remarkable music is on offer. Tony will be joined by a very special guest!

The Civilians, New York's award-winning investigative theater company, is back with "Let Me Ascertain You: Sex Variants 1941." In the 1940s, Dr. George W. Henry of Cornell University interviewed over 200 people about their sex lives, intimate relationships, typically troubled childhoods, incessant bed-wettings, and psychotic aunts in one of the earliest "scientific" surveys of sexual deviancy titled "Sex Variants" published in 1941.

As a singer, she's graced the stages of 54 Below, the Laurie Beechman, the Metropolitan Room, and every gay bar on the Eastern Seaboard; as an actress, she's counted to 20 as a singing garbage woman on Sesame Street and dubbed the vocals of a singing hooker on HBO's Cathouse: The Musical; as a woman, she strives every day in every way to be a consummate lady and sometimes wonders if she actually still has a liver or not. Alexander Zhurbin is Russia's pre-eminent composer of musical theatre, film soundtracks and popular song. His career launched overnight in 1975, when he wrote Russia's first rock-opera Orpheus & Eurydice, which went on to be the longest continuously running theatrical production in Russia, after 2500 performances. Since that day, he has written scores to over 60 films, 30 musicals, symphonies, ballets and concert works. Thanks to his wide-ranging output and activity, he has often been compared to the "Russian Leonard Bernstein."

Public Forum Drama Club will celebrate Valentine's Day with a reading and discussion of Shakespeare's epic poem about the pleasure and pain of love, Venus and Adonis. The young Adonis is seduced by the goddess Venus, with uncomfortable consequences for all of us. Reading the poem and discussing love in the modern day will be Will Swenson, Audra McDonald, and others.
