Tim Realbuto to Appear on Fox 5's GOOD DAY NEW YORK STREET TALK & More to Promote 7/24 54 Below Show

Award winning writer/performer Tim Realbuto will be a guest on several upcoming television shows to promote his star-studded (not-so-solo) solo show at 54 Below, which is entitled Tim Realbuto: Alone (With Plenty of Help) and will tell the story of his life growing up in show business with hilarity and poignancy. He's enlisted the help of some top stars to play characters in his life, voices in his head, and sometimes (when things get too tough), they will even play Tim himself.

Tim's co-stars for the evening include Tony Award winner BETH LEAVEL (The Drowsy Chaperone; 42nd Street), "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" star JENNA LEIGH GREEN (Wicked; Bare: A Pop Opera), DEREK KLENA (Dogfight; The Bridges of Madison County), JASON GOTAY (Bring It On; Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark), Drama Desk Award Nominee CHRISTINA BIANCO (Forbidden Broadway; "The Ellen Show"), DANIELLE FERLAND (Broadway's original Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods; HBO's The Normal Heart), ALLI MAUZEY (Cry-Baby; Wicked), NATASCIA DIAZ (tick tick Boom; Man of La Mancha), LAURISSA ROMAIN (South Pacific; "Are We There Yet?"), and KIMBERLY FAYE GREENBERG (Danny and Sylvia; One Night With Fanny Brice). There is one more big guest star yet to be announced.

Mr. Realbuto's first television appearance is slated for next Wednesday, July 2nd. He will be a guest on Fox's Good Day New York Street Talk, in which he will speak about the creation of his 54 Below show and his career before that. Realbuto will be joined by a couple of guests from his upcoming July show and will sing a medley of songs featured in Tim Realbuto: Alone (With Plenty of Help). Next up for Tim is The Ginger New York Show, which will air live on MNN on Friday, July 18th at 2:00 PM. This will be Realbuto's second appearance on Ginger New York. He is scheduled to do an interview about his 54 Below show as well as sing.

Mr. Realbuto is an award-winning writer; most known for co-writing the Broadway bound musical Ghostlight alongside Matthew Martin. Ghostlight premiered at the Signature Theatre as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2011, co-directed by Realbuto. Realbuto and Martin have previously done two popular 54 Below concerts featuring their original music. Realbuto also served as co-director for five readings of Ghostlight over the past few years. As an actor, Tim appeared on the silver screen as Jackson Phieffer in The Emperor's Club starring opposite Academy Award winner Kevin Kline, Emile Hirsch, and Jesse Eisenberg, for Universal Pictures. Other screen work includes "Ed"; "Law and Order: CI"; "The Sopranos"; Sex and the City: The Movie; Fighting; The First Seven Years (opposite Carol Kane); Woody Allen's Deconstructing Harry; and two seasons on Nickelodeon's "The Big Help." He has appeared on the New York stage in Hair; Romeo and Juliet; Finian's Rainbow; The Winter's Tale Project (Fringe NYC); Love's Labours Lost; and in the Off-Broadway premiere of White Widow, a new musical at the Times Square Arts Center. His screenplay The Hyde Club is currently in pre- production. He and his musical collaborator, Matthew Martin, are also at work writing a new show based on a popular film.
