The Triad is pleased to announce Lillias White LIVE! in a series of Monday night performances, September 14th, 21st & 28th at 9:30pm - on Lee Summers' JUST A PIANO Concert Series, featuring Timothy Graphenreed on piano.

The sensational, multi-talenTed White, recipient of the Tony, Emmy, Obie, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards will perform an intimate evening of Broadway standards. She will star in the upcoming Broadway production of Fela! opening this Fall at The Eugene O'Neill Theater. Ms. White debuted on Broadway in Barnum in 1981 and has since appeared in the original production of Dreamgirls and in the 1987 revival, Cats, Rock'N'Roll! The First 5000 Years, Carrie and Chicago. Her tour-de-force performance in Cy Coleman's The Life was honored with the 1997 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

White's television appearances include a regular role on Sesame Street (Emmy Award), Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and NYPD Blue. Her film credits include How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Game 6, Pieces of April and Then She Found Me.

Lee Summers' Just A Piano SM Concert Series has presented numerous top artists such as Broadway/TV's Roz Ryan, Tony Award Winner Adriane Lenox, recording sensation Alyson Williams ("Just Call My Name"), Marva Hicks (Caroline or Change), Julie Reiber (Wicked), Crystal Mone Hall (Rent), Shoshana Bean (Hairspray, Wicked), Kevin-Anthony (co-founder of "Black2 Broadway"), Opera diva Shirley Verrett's vocal protégé Erika Banks, The Little Mermaid's Zakiya Young Mizen, Drowsy Chaperone's Kecia Lewis-Evans (featuring Tony Winner, LaChanze), rising star, Rebecca Covington (Featuring Norm Lewis, Tituss Burgess and Chester Gregory), Doreen Montalvo (In the Heights), Kenneth Alston, Jr. (Three Mo' Tenors), 3 Time Grammy Nominee/Tony Winner Melba Moore and series creator, Lee Summers (Dreamgirls).
