Born and raised in the Bronx, New York Natasha's vocal gift has roots in her Church singing soul stirring gospel. Word of her 7 octave vocals began to spread amongst those in the music industry and soon Natasha was hired to open for artist such as Nancy Wilson, Jon Lucien, FrEddie Jackson, Karen Clark Sheard, Shirley Caesar, Morris Day, Ray Goodman and Brown, and The Main Ingredient. Working with The Main Ingredient gave Natasha her first experience recording professionally. On the veteran group's CD "Pure Magic" she performs a duet with lead singer Carlton Blount. With that recording under her belt, Natasha went on to record two CDs on independent labels. A very rare true talent among female singers, Natasha also writes and arranges most of her own songs. Her CD, "No Warning Signs," heated up the music charts with the title song along with "Uninspired" and "Love Me Back." She also donated a portion of every sale to Breast Cancer Awareness Groups. This diverse diva's acting talent was noticed by many including the First Lady of Radio Vy Higginsen. In fact, Natasha very generously donated to Shirley Scott, when the organization Great Women In Music paid tribute to the New York City businesswoman. These chance meetings landed Natasha roles in 4 Off Broadway Productions: "SS Nirvana," Larry Woods's" Going No Where Fast, When You Don't Put God First" and Vy Higginsen's "Sing Harlem Sing," and the understudy for sister Carrie in " Mama I Want To Sing The Next Generation!". She also performs in the "The Motown Story", a musical produced and directed by East Harlem Democratic Leader John Ruiz. Natasha's music has also found it's way into radio rotation, in the United States and abroad in the United Kingdom most recently on Soul USA Radio UK hosted by Steve Harris. Natasha has established a loyal following of fans, old and young alike. She sings for the love of Real R&B. Her true beauty and grace only amplifies her vocal talent when she performs. Her Production Company, Natasha C. CowaRD Productions, is geared toward promoting stylish and elegant R&B shows. Her team is high spirited and tight and they reflect the person that Natasha truly is inside and out. Her manager is her long time friend and confidant Tony Branch who keeps her production team tight and her music vision on the right course. Beautiful. Talented. Creative. Unscripted. Compassionate. There are not enough words to describe this incredible phenom. Truly a talent to be seen and heard. Natasha C. Coward. Bringing "Real R&B" back to the people.
