Singer, actress and comedienne, Michelle Cheney will take the TexARTS cabaret stage in her comedic and heartwarming show, "I'm Not Afraid," April 12 -13 at 7:30 p.m.

This evening of parody and humor will feature songs from some of Broadway's greatest composers including Kander and Ebb, MerEdith Wilson, Bock and Harnick and Jason Robert Brown. Michelle will serve up some interesting twists in her comedic approach to the challenges of major life changes and the pitfalls of being glamorous, fabulous and over 40. This production will feature David Blackburn on piano.

Michelle's flair for song and comedy has dazzled Austin audiences for years. She is a B. Iden Payne Award-winning actress and has previously starred in the TexARTS professional production of "Holiday Cabaret."

"I'm Not Afraid" will play the TexARTS Kam and James Morris Theatre, 2300 Lohman's Spur, Austin, TX 78734. Doors open one hour prior to curtain.
