Broadway star Susan Egan and celebrated composer/lyricist/music director Georgia Stitt will present Glamour and Goop at Birdland on Monday, May 21st at 7 pm. This event is part of Jim Caruso's Broadway at Birdland concert series, which showcases performers and composers from the Great White Way and environs.

Egan and Stitt have each made big names for themselves in the worlds of Broadway, film, and television. Here, their shared passion, insights, and talents bring the audience an evening of new music and re-conceived classics that touch upon every aspect of our modern, multi-tasking lives. The material is from their latest albums, which were both released last November. Stitt's album, My Lifelong Love, is part of the Sh-K-Boom Records catalog and features thirteen of Stitt's songs recorded by some of Broadway's finest stars, including Egan. Egan's solo album, The Secret of Happiness, was released on LML Records and produced by Stitt. The evening also includes behind-the-scenes stories ranging from hijinks to heartache and echoes the tone of the website the two women co-curate, called, naturally, Glamour And Goop. (www.glamourandgoop.com).

Stitt and Egan appeared in 2009 in New York's Metropolitan Room in a sold-out show called All Knocked Up when they were both pregnant, and they have performed together in concert halls, cabaret venues, and cruise ships around the world.

The evening will also feature Gary Sieger on guitar and Randy Landau on bass.
